Testing the blogger app

Hey folks. I just downloaded the Blogger app for my smart ass phone. Not much customization at all. I may have to look into alternative blog apps.

I want to put more focus and time into blogger and YouTube. So I thought it would be good to familiarize myself with the mobile options.

Keep cool, my babies. Conan will return.

I painted this portrait of Conan O'Brien. I love Conan's show. There were so many late night laughs I've shared with my friends.

I was always on his side during the late night wars and I hate to see his show get destroyed by NBC. But I am hopeful. I know Conan will return and be better than ever. I can't wait.

Until then, I will keep cool, my babies.

You can watch the video of the Conan painting being made. I hope you enjoy. :]

OhNo!Doom....but in a good way.

I was going to show three new paintings at the Painted Ladies exhibit at the A.Okay Official gallery in Chicago next month. A few things have changed.

I just got an email from the curators, Max & Lana, and they have postponed the art show until June 201o. They have also moved the show from A.Okay Official to the much larger OhNo!Doom gallery. This should be a lovely art show. The artists are all paying homage to the loveliness of the ladies.

The Bad News: You have to wait a few more months for the Painted Ladies exhibit.
The Good News: The postponement will give the artists ample time to paint some beautiful work. Good things come to those who wait.

Further information on OhNo!Doom gallery:

OhNo! Doom has been a popular art space in Chicago for the past two years. Created by designers to showcase artists of the same genre. This winter OhNo!Doom opens the doors of a new and larger gallery space with it's two new members, Max Bare and Lana Crooks (previously the curators of A.Okay Official), at 1800 N. Milwaukee Ave. Located in Wicker Park, Chicago, a neighborhood known for its intense nightlife and rich artists' community.

The "Auditeur" story.

This is a special print for all you passionate music lovers out there.

The subject in this print is listening to something on her headphones. What song do you think she's listening to?

Even though she is listening to some good tunes, she is distracted by something. Possibly another album that looks like it might be interesting?

If you're really passionate about music, you definitely have some favorite songs of all time, but you're always on the look out for more favorites. Your search for that PERFECT song never ends, so you continue to listen to new things. That's what this print represents.

Times Like These (acoustic)

I was listening to this song all day. I couldn't help but think of how it's the perfect soundtrack for a day like today.

I'm not a huge fan of the Foo Fighters, but I really do think Dave Grohl is an incredible musician who writes incredible songs.

Here's an acoustic version of "Times Like These". Dave Grohl delivers on this one. He should do more acoustic stuff..........it's a beautiful version.
